Why Onion Loci
Uncovering Stories. Creating Spaces.
Every space has a story.
Not one created by trends or imposed by a particular design style, but one shaped by the people who inhabit it, the moments that unfold within it, the culture that surrounds it, and the context in which it exists.
At Onion Loci, we believe meaningful spaces are discovered through layers.
Layers of people and purpose.
Layers of culture and context.
Layers of function and movement.
Layers of material, craft, memory, and emotion.
Our approach begins by uncovering these layers and understanding the relationship between them. Instead of starting with a predefined style, we begin with listening, observing, and discovering what makes each place unique.
This allows us to create spaces that are not only visually beautiful, but deeply connected to the lives they hold.
Spaces that feel authentic.
Spaces that stand beyond trends.
Spaces that carry a sense of belonging.
Because we believe great design is not about creating a signature look.
It is about revealing the unique spirit of every place.
Design Philosophy
Not a story imposed by design, but one shaped by the people who inhabit it, the rituals that unfold within it, the culture that surrounds it, and the context in which it exists.
At Onion Loci, we believe these stories are revealed through layers.
Our design process begins by understanding these layers and the relationships between them. Through thoughtful connection, we uncover what makes each place unique and translate those insights into meaningful environments.
We do not begin with a predetermined style. We begin with understanding.
The result is spaces that feel authentic, timeless, and deeply connected to the lives they support—spaces that express the spirit of place and create a sense of belonging.
This is how we create Stories of Spaces.
By revealing the layers that shape a place and transforming them into environments that are experienced, remembered, and lived.
Layers → Connections → Spirit of Place → Stories of Spaces

Our Approach to Meaningful Spaces:
Understanding Before Designing
We begin with your story—your lifestyle, aspirations, and the way you want to experience your space.
Layers That Create Meaning
We uncover and connect the layers that shape a place—people, purpose, context, materials, and emotions.
Expertise That Brings Vision to Life
A multidisciplinary team of designers, architects, engineers, and craftsmen transforms ideas into beautifully realized spaces.
Beyond Trends, Towards Timelessness
We create spaces that feel relevant today and continue to feel right for years to come.
Details That Make It Yours
From the overall vision to the smallest detail, every decision is thoughtfully considered to create a space that truly belongs to you.
Great design starts with active listening. Before drawing a single line, we immerse ourselves in your story—understanding your lifestyle, aspirations, and how you intend to inhabit your world. We view space through multiple lenses, weaving together people, purpose, context, and raw materials into a cohesive narrative. Backed by a multidisciplinary collective of architects, designers, engineers, and master craftsmen, we balance elevated artistry with precise execution. We don't chase fleeting trends. Instead, we craft timeless, deeply personal environments where every detail—from the overarching architecture to the finest tactile finish—feels uniquely and unmistakably yours.
